Lough Nageeragh House – Holiday Rental
General
1. Guests agree to deliver up the premises and all fixtures and fittings therein at the termination of this rental in good condition and complete repair, fair wear and tear only expectable; and to leave all furniture and effects therein in the same position and condition as at the commencement of this agreement. (according to rental inventory)
2. Guests agree to use the premises only for the purposes of a holiday rental house and to refrain from causing annoyance or inconvenience (whether by noise or otherwise) to any neighbour or to any other occupier of the same premises or buildings.
3. Guests agree not to exceed the maximum number of guests permitted during their rental period as agreed on the rental inventory.
4. Lough Nageeragh House takes no responsibility for the loss of or damage to the tenants’ personal property, possessions, belongings or effects by whatever cause.
5. When leaving the property the guests must lock all doors and windows.
6. Guests agree to follow all instructions in relation to using the equipment in the house as written in Lough Nageeragh House Guest Handbook.
7. Guests agree to follow all health and safety instructions in relation to using the Jacuzzi and Sauna as written in Lough Nageeragh House Guest Handbook.
8. Guests agree to follow all fire regulation and safety instructions as written in Lough Nageeragh House Guest Handbook.
Fair Usage Policy
9. Lough Nageeragh has a fair usage policy on the use of electricity during the rental period. This policy is set at €10 per day of the rental. This credit will be preloaded onto the Lough Nageeragh House electric meter. Guests that use more than €10 per day during the course of the rental will be expected to pay for this themselves by topping up the electric meter in accordance to the instructions in the Lough Nageeragh House Guest Handbook.
Refuse Policy
10. Guests agree to follow the refuse policy in accordance to the instructions in the Lough Nageeragh House Guest Handbook. Each rental period will be given one black wheelie bin tag for the refuse generated during their rental period. Any additional effuse generated must be disposed of by the guest.
Refundable Deposit
11. The guest agrees to pay a £300 deposit. This deposit will be refundable at the end of the tenancy agreement if at that time everything in the house is in the condition expected according to the tenancy agreement.
12. The Landlord will refund the deposit to the tenant at the end of this agreement less any reasonable deductions properly made by the landlord to cover the reasonable costs incurred or losses caused to him by any breaches of the obligations under in this agreement by the tenant. The deposit will be returned as soon as is practically possible allowing the Landlord reasonable time to ensure that all costs incurred by the Landlord through breaches of this agreement have been assessed. The Landlord shall not however, except in exceptional circumstances, retain the deposit for more than one month after the end of the tenancy.
Cancellation Policy
13. In event of a Cancellation please inform us as soon as possible. A cancellation fee of 25% will apply to cancellations made less than 8 weeks before the rental start date. Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the rental start date will not be refunded.
14. Please note: Lough Nageeragh reserves the right to cancel a rental within 2 working days of the rental start date. In this case a full refund will be issued.
